Grilled Strip Steak with Garlicky Rainbow Chard

No-Antibiotics-Ever Strip Steak

Start with high standards: The steak from our Meat department’s butcher case must always be animal welfare certified and from animals raised with no antibiotics ever and no added hormones. Strip steak is a tender cut with visible marbling, which can give the meat big flavor and juiciness. It loves a bold sauce, like one with a blast of soy sauce and sesame oil. To round out the meal, grab some vibrant green or rainbow chard while you’re at it — it sautés up in minutes and is perfect for balancing out the rich flavor of the beef.

Sustainable Wild Caught Halibut

This mild, firm fish is grill-ready and sauce-ready, especially for marinades that are a little sweet and savory. Grill or pan-sear opens in a new tab some artichokes and peaches for dessert, and you’ve got yourself one seriously summery meal. (P.S. The halibut, along with the rest of the wild-caught seafood in our Seafood department, must always be certified or rated for sustainability.)

Grilled Chicken Kabobs

No-Antibiotics-Ever Chicken Kabobs

Too busy to prep for the grill? Pick up some ready-to-cook kabobs in our Meat department: They’re packed with no-antibiotics-ever chicken. Choose premarinated or marinate your own in something zingy and salty-sweet. Raise the stakes (or kabobs) by threading on some grill-friendly fruit opens in a new tab like pineapple chunks — they’ll get caramelized and extra sweet.

Mild yet rich and lightly sweet, sustainable wild-caught Chilean sea bass is another firm fillet that holds up well to the grill and loves an umami-packed marinade. Keep your meals on the lighter side with sweet summer veggies like snap peas and bright green salads. For a crispy-creamy side, boil small new potatoes, then smash and fry lightly in a skillet for crackling outsides.

No-Antibiotics-Ever Sirloin Steak

Nothing says a classic summer meal like sirloin with steak sauce, asparagus and fingerling potatoes. Be sure to throw the asparagus on the grill instead of steaming or sautéing — you won’t be able to get enough of their smoky sweetness. Finish it off with a bold red wine, and it’s summer meets steakhouse.*
